Blessed with an astounding year-round concentration of animals, the Masai Mara National Reserve provides an unsurpassed wildlife experience. Roaming the terrain is an abundance of the Big Five, big herds of elephant and resident
lion prides, as well as elusive leopard, endangered black rhino, giraffe and cheetah. The Mara River is home to large rafts of hippo and some of Africa’s largest crocodiles.
IN THE PATH OF THE GREAT MIGRATION
One of nature’s biggest wildlife spectacles, the wildebeest migration passes through the Masai Mara from July to October. Watch in awe as the migration crisscross back and forth across the Mara River in the Masai Mara. Our game drives
are carefully planned to anticipate the progress of the Great Migration and our guides make every effort to explain the movement of the herds and get sightings of the dramatic river crossings.
MEET THE MAASAI PEOPLE
Traditionally a semi-nomadic tribe, the Maasai are recognized worldwide for their unique cultural dance, colorful clothing and intricate handcrafts. Seen as distinguished warriors, they still follow many traditions and rituals. This
glimpse of authentic Maasai culture is a fascinating experience.
Day 1 – Nairobi – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, pick up from Hotel and depart Nairobi to journey through the picturesque landscapes, skirting the dormant peaks of Mt. Longonot and Mt. Suswa, en route to the heartlands of the Maasai community arriving in time for lunch.
Later in the day, enjoy the thrilling adventure of your first game drive returning to the lodge or Camp in time for dinner.
Day 2: Maasai Mara (Full Day)
Early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the Reserve. The Maasai Mara is famous for its wildlife concentration and abundance that is second to none in the region. Elephant, lion and buffalo can be seen
with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered.
We will cater for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool where you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and Maasai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
On this day after breakfast, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Maasai people with a visit to a traditional Maasai village.
Explore the village, including the distinctive “enkangs” (homes) and the traditional practices passed down through generations. Enjoy traditional dances, songs, and demonstrations of Maasai crafts, and take the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the community. This cultural immersion provides a deeper understanding of the Maasai’s deep-rooted connection to the land and their sustainable lifestyle. The experience will be a meaningful and enriching addition to your safari journey before continuing on to Nairobi with lunch enroute.

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Today we pick you up from your Hotel for Maasai Mara through the famous Rift valley viewpoint for photos and viewing along the way with spectular viewing sceneries, as you proceed for the Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive intime for lunch.
Depart for an afternoon gamedrive in this magnificent Park, which forms the same eco-system with Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park back early evening.
Day 2: Masai Mara
At sunrise we wake up for an early breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the Reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for it’s wildlife concentration and abundance that is second to none in the region. Elephant, lion and buffalo can be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra and maasai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. In the late afternoon (at an extra cost), go for optional activities like having a nature walk, visiting Maasai villages to see the nomadic lifestyle.

On this day after breakfast, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Maasai people with a visit to a traditional Maasai village.

Day 4 : Nakuru – Nairobi
Today we wake up for early in the morning for a unique visit to the famious Lake Nakuru National Park which lies in Central Kenya for almost one hour , proceed on a game drive in this phenomenal National Park. This Park is famous for its ecosystem which comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The Park supports a wide ecological diversity with flamingos (greater and lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area.
Depart Nakuru for Nairobi through the rural villages and farmlands to arrive early evening.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Day 4 : Lake Naivasha – Nakuru
Early morning boat ride in the lake. Spot the hippos that linger just at the surface of the water, and see some of the diverse birdlife; African fish eagles, lesser flamingos, African spoonbill, and little grebe are all common here or explore the crescent Island on foot.
Depart for Nakuru with lunch enroute arriving in late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Samburu
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to flocks of flamingos and other water birds. You may also spot endangered species such as the white rhino and the Rothschild giraffe. The
park also boasts a variety of wildlife including lions, leopards, antelopes, warthogs, and buffalo. After your game drive, continue your journey to Samburu, with a scenic stop at Thomson Falls and lunch in Nanyuki, situated
at the foothills of Mt. Kenya. Arrive in Samburu in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : Samburu National Reserve (Full Day)
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu, with a relaxing lunch and leisure break in between. Samburu is home to rare wildlife adapted to the arid conditions of northern Kenya, such as the reticulated giraffe,
Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich. The Ewaso Nyiro River provides water to the region, attracting a variety of wildlife.
Day 7 : Samburu National Reserve – Mount Kenya
After a pre-breakfast game drive, set out for Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. Arrive in time for lunch at a lodge nestled in the shadow of the mountain. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in Kenya’s history
with a special visit to the Mau Mau Caves, where freedom fighters sought refuge during the struggle for independence. The caves are an important cultural site and provide a unique glimpse into Kenya’s rich history.
Day 8 : Mount Kenya – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, drive south through Karatina, the largest open-air market in Eastern and Central Africa, and stop briefly at Namanga for lunch. Continue on to Amboseli National Park, arriving in the afternoon in time for
a game drive. On clear days, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen in the background. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge/campsite.
Day 9 : Amboseli National Park (Full Day)
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through Amboseli, known for its stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is home to elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and plains game, along with rare species such as
the Taita weaver and gerenuk. After lunch, enjoy another afternoon game drive. The Observation Hill offers panoramic views of the park and beyond.
Day 10 : Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park, with lunch en-route. Visit the Shetani Lava flow, a volcanic area that offers dramatic landscapes, and the Mzima Springs, a crystal-clear water source home to
hippos, crocodiles, and various fish species. Tsavo is also known for its large populations of elephants, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and buffalo.
Day 11 : Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Tsavo West, with the chance to see rock hyraxes, squirrels, and mongooses. Proceed to Tsavo East National Park for a game drive, where you may spot wildlife such as plains game,
zebra, kudu, and large herds of elephants. Visit the Aruba Dam and the Crocodile Point at Lugard Falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/campsite.
Day 12 : Tsavo East – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy your final game drive, where you may encounter more plains game, antelopes, ostriches, and elephants. Lunch will be served en-route, with arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon/evening, marking the
end of your unforgettable safari.
