Tour Overview
Day 1
Nairobi –Aberdare
We will pick you at 8.00am, depart for Aberdares National Park arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel and then a transfer to The Treetops Lodge for the Treetops Experience; the most famous game viewing lodge in the world overlooking a water hole and salt lick visited by various species of animals to lick the salt and quench their thirst. The Park is best known for being the home of the Treetops Hotel where Princess Elizabeth became the Queen of England in 1952. The habitat ranges from botanical riches, forest and torrential waterfalls and plunges including the Gura Waterfall which is very prestigious in Kenya. The area is also rich in Wildlife with more than 2000 elephants. Dinner and overnight is at the Treetops.
Day 2
Aberdare– Nairobi
Wake up for your pre-breakfast game drive and thereafter depart via the largest open-air market in East and Central Africa (Karatina). Enroute, you will visit the Thompson Falls, which are named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880's. Arrive back to Nairobi early evening
