With a briefing by the Head Ranger after breakfast, we begin gorilla tracking with escorts. This Park is home to well over half of the world’s entire surviving gorilla population. Set in indigenous deep guinea-equatorial jungle with montane and lowland forests and over 1000 flowering plant species, the Park is also a home to the giant forest hog, colobus monkey, chimpanzee, huge and small geckos, numerous frogs, chameleons, butterflies and about 350 bird species. The hike would take us through adventurous muddy slopes in quest of experiencing the gorilla families living their lives undisturbed. Late or picnic lunch follows. Dinner and overnight is at Volcano Bwindi Camp on Half Board Basis.
