Tour Overview
Day 1
Nairobi - Tsavo West
We will pick you up at 8.00 am and drive via Chyulu hills to Tsavo West National Park to arrive for in time for lunch and proceed for your afternoon game viewing drive. The Park is set with gently rolling plains, the picturesque Taita hills and lava flows all in a plateau dotted with acacia, scrub and bush land. This is home to a variety of wildlife including the famed Tsavo elephant and lions. While in the Park, you will have a chance of visiting the famous Mzima Springs that has an underground aquatic life viewing tank and is the source of drinking water to Mombasa Beach City.
Return for dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2
Tsavo West - Amboseli
After your breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park, with lunch on the way. Arrive for an afternoon en-route game drive. The Park, set beautifully with the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro as its backdrop (Africa’s highest mountain free-standing at 5895M), lies on a dried-up lake bed. It has a contrast of habitats; swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the mountain’s melting snows giving permanent water to the wildlife, dust bowls, forests, seasonal lakes and hills.
Day 3
Amboseli -Mombasa
After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in this Park. The animals here are mainly found around the Ol Kenya swamp. These include lion, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, plains game, waterbuck, the rare Taita weaver and the gerenuk among others. If the weather is clear and there is no low cloud cover, you may see the peak of the mountain. The Observation Hill offers a view of the entire Park and beyond. Depart with Lunch enroute back to Mombasa arriving early in the afternoon.
